  Just wanted to let you know that I finally zeroed my Remington Model 7 in 7mm-08, that is mounted on one of your stocks.  Not only is the craftsmanship, checkering and the wood on the stock absolutely beautiful, it is amazingly consistent and accurate with factory loads.  I am shooting Remington Core-Lokt 140 grain PSP's.  Off the bags at 100 yards with the trigger breaking at 3 pounds, I am consistently shooting 3 shot groups of less than ¾ MOA.  I imagine with some well tweaked hand loads I can shrink those groups as well.  The quality of your stocks is nothing less than first class.  I am very eager to get the next one mounted on my 6mm Model 7.  My thanks to Accurate Innovations for a top notch product and great customer service.

As promised, here are a few pictures of critters I took in Africa last month.  Feel free to use them if you are so inclined.  My rifle was shooting right where it was when I left home and held zero the entire trip.  I attribute a lot of that to the fit and stability of the stock.  It was nice to enjoy that kind of confidence so I could focus on hunting and taking good shots.  Thanks for all you did to get them to me in time.

  I shot my pet load for the first time Sunday. The beautiful stock that You made me seems to have cut my group size considerably. I went from a 3/4" best but consistent to the two groups I shot that were .466 and .462. 260 gr. nosler pt @ 2715fps avg.

  I purchased 2 stocks for Whitworth and rem 700 guns.  So far I have been very pleased with the performance of both with regard to accuracy and recoil.  The mauser in .458 after re-scooping shot a 3 shot 1' group and recoil was much improved.  The rem 700 in .338 win mag, with test loads turned in a group with 4 rounds on top of each other and the 5th a 1/2 to left. The recoil was about on par with a 30-06.  Both had the limb saver added and were the laminate construction. Will send you some pic's and a report after I get back from Africa this summer.

  I received my stock from you the day before Christmas, so it was my best Christmas present by far. The quality, fit, finish and overall beauty far exceeded my expectations. ... I was the one who ordered my stock last October as I was driving back from an out west hunting trip. I then called you with my ER Shaw barrel dimensions as the barrel was not a factory contour. Any how the action and the barrel fell right in with a perfect fit. The gun shoots beautiful, and it will be going to Africa next August and I hope to have some pictures of the gun for you then.

• Took my first moose in BC Canada last fall using your Accurate Innovations Golden Supreme stock, fitted to a Montana 1999 receiver, behind a Douglas #5 barrel chambered for the 300 RUM, and topped off with a Leupold VX3 3-10x40 scope. Hit this yearling bull with the first shot, in the spine at the base of the neck, as he stood facing me 320 yards across a lake. Used my own hand loads, a 200 gr. Barnes TSX with 78 gr. of RL19, for 3050 fps.  I'm really impressed with this rifles grouping and consistency.  It's a real treat taking it to the field!

• Wanted to let you know that I took the new Montana Rifle in the stock you made to the range this weekend for test firing and to begin load development. The starting load at 100 yard zero gave me less than a 5/8's inch group. After I develop a load I'm satisfied with - plan to zero it at 300 yards.

  The fit of the stock was quite impressive, VERY SATISFIED.  Here in a couple of months once the rifle is broken in, I'll send you a pic of the group size at 200 yards.  We are using Ken Farrell rings / bases and a Leupold 6-20 variable.  There should be no weak points in this setup.  We can't wait until June in the SD grasslands.

The stock for my MRC 99 SA came yesterday and my what a nice piece of wood it is! The figure in the wood and the finish on the stock are something to see. The fit is as if you had the action there to custom make the barrel channel. A very fine wood to metal fit around the action. I am VERY impressed.

I just received my stock for the remington 7mm mag xcr.  By the way, the stock is beautiful.   I dropped the barreled action into the stock and went to the range.  I shot a 5 shot group at 100 yards that was a 5/8 inch group. The hogue stock that came with the gun shot a 2 1/2 inch group using the same ammo.

  Ruger stock is fantastic!  It really makes a sleek and compact rifle.  I think it will have to go to Namibia in May.  Nice size for long stalks, and enough power for the plains game there.  The wood is gorgeous, I could not be happier.  Checkering feels great, There is something about wrap around checkering.  I have not made it to the range yet, but will update you with how it shoots soon.  Thanks for the great job.  It enhances my time afield, and adds value in my collection.

Great job!  The color contrast, a little character, straight through the wrist, just perfect.  You are right the checkering is nice.  Something about wrap around on the fore arm I like.  I think its because I lived through the horrible pressed on panel era.  Its not a light rifle, but nicely balanced, and its a pleasure to shoot.  The stock really minimizes recoil, I think it will be perfect for the 350 rem mag also.  The bedding makes the whole package feel really solid.  I've loaded up some partitions, and will try to shrink the groups this weekend.  I'm very happy with the rifle, and glad I found you and your company.

Here is a report on the new stock for the Montana Rifleman 6.5 x 55.  The English walnut was exactly as I requested, and beautifully inlayed.  The ebony fore end is skillfully joined to the walnut without any visible seam.  Hand checkering is clean and sharp.  Your wood finish is great, easily the equal of the finish on several hand made stocks I own that cost 2-3 times as much as this stock.

As a wood products engineer I have a love for wood.  I also understand wood properties, good and bad that make it suitable for gunstocks.  While wood is thermally stable, it moves with changes in moisture.  Wood is also strong in tension and compression parallel to the grain, but weak in shear parallel to the grain.  Therefore wood stocks are susceptible to moving point of impact with humidity changes, and splitting out the wood behind the recoil lug.  Each piece of wood is unique due to the fact it was a living growing organism.   While it is nice to have a unique looking stock, production wood stocks can not be counted to be consistent and repeatable.  All of these drawbacks are completely eliminated with the use of your aluminum insert!  

Accurate Innovation's method of making wood stocks uses modern manufacturing and engineering to provide beautiful wood stocks that are stable and accurate!  Bravo!

All my life I dreamed of going on an African Safari. I woke up recently, looked at the calendar and realized that the years had slipped by and, if I was ever going to go it would have to be soon. I decided on my rifle quickly (the classic .375 H&H) but, the stock was another matter. All I knew was that it had to be wood, no synthetic for me. I did considerable research and decided on your company and am I ever glad that I did. When the stock arrived, I expected it to look good but, very few purchased ever live up to real life expectations, so I was unprepared for what I found when I opened the package. Not only was it well made and attractive but, it was drop dead gorgeous. I went to the range and shot four rounds at 100 yards all in the bulls eye and all touching at 100 yards. I removed the barrel and action from the stock to work on the action. When I went back to the range I shot another four rounds in the bull's eye with the exact same results without adjusting the scope from where it was originally. I'm not often at a loss for words but, it is difficult for me to describe how pleased I am with you product. I recommend it unequivocally.

• I received my stock today. It is absolutely beautiful. It's everything I hoped for and then some. Thanks for doing such great work. It was definitely worth the wait. I will send you pictures when I get the scope on. Putting the Montana barrelled action in with the #4 barrel, it looks like the rifle of all rifles. I'm not kidding when I tell you it looks better than any of the custom Model 70's in the Bass Pro fine gun room. I absolutely love it. And to know I can punch holes through a fly's ass at 200 yards with it is even more incredible. I was starting to get rather attached to my Browning, but this baby is the end all be all. Till death do us part. I can't wait to make some memories with it. I'm heading out Thursday night to do so. If I get a big boar, I'm going to submit a picture on Montana's trophy page.

Advanced Barrel Systems has been using Accurate Innovations stocks for show display and to stock our test rifles for about a year now. We have found them to be the best of the best. Our test rifles are in and out of the stocks frequently and the accuracy of the bedding systems in these stocks makes our life much easier. We can conduct a shooting evaluation of a new barrel design, pull the barreled action from the stock for examination and bolt the assembly back into the stock with exact return to zero. The following group was fired at 100 yards disassembling the rifle after each of the 3 shots. The bedding system used in these stocks gives exact return to zero, not “near zero,” it’s exact.

What’s better than that? Accuracy characteristics of the best composite stocks on the market melded with the warmth of fine wood.
