Aluminum Chassis™"

·
Our
patent pending "Golden Accuracy Chassis™" is 100%
CAD/CAM designed and machined from a solid bar of aircraft grade
aluminum. This results in extreme precision and stability, resulting
in superior
accuracy over standard stocks.
·
Pillars
are press fitted into bottom of the block to form a metal to metal
chassis system with 1-piece rigidity.
·
Also,
the "Golden Accuracy Chassis™" is precisely fitted
to the receiver only. This results in a full free- floating barrel.
·
Forend of bedding block contains two massive recoil distributing
lugs which are securely embedded into precision machined relief
pockets in the stock.
·
Forend swivel stud is secured through the end of the full length "Golden Accuracy Chassis™," it'll never pull out!
·
High tensile strength 3MR epoxy is used to precisely and permanently
secure the chassis to the precisely machined wooden stock. It
remains flexible after curing and withstands the temperature extremes
of modern firearms in any environment.
- Pachmayr
Decelerator™ recoil pads
Pachmayr
Decelerator™ recoil pads
come standard with Golden
Accuracy™ gunstocks
Pachmayr's Decelerator recoil
pads have become the standard by which all other pads are judged.
Decelerator pads are made from a "super soft" rubber
blend that provides maximum recoil reduction and shooting comfort.
This specially blended material reduces the "shock effect"
of recoil like no other grip or pad, and allows the shooter
to fully
concentrate on hitting the target.

- Unique
epoxy
Unique
epoxy used in bonding the "Golden Accuracy Aluminum
Chassis™"
The full length aluminum chassis of every Golden Accuracy™ stock
is
secured into the wood with a special structural load bearing
epoxy.
It has superior tensile, peel, and shear strength. By far, it
is
stronger than the wood itself. Standard operating temperatures
for this epoxy is -67°F to +150°F. Also, this epoxy is
has elastomeric flexibility even after full curing. This allows
for different rates of expansion and contraction of the two dissimilar
materials, wood and aluminum.
This feature also greatly improves each material's resistance to
vibration fatigue. Simply put, this is one durable, beautiful,
accurate
wooden stock - with no equal.
- Wrist
area reinforcement
Wrist
area reinforcement
For your safety, each Golden Accuracy Series™ stock is reinforced with a titanium pin. Titanium, known for its
toughness, rigidity, and light
weight is a costly addition to each of our stocks, but it is worth
it.
We obtain about the same strength as 7/16" steel rod at a
cost of 1/3 of
the weight.

Stocks
- Grade
of Walnut
Grade
of walnut
Our standard hunter uses Claro
walnut. Claro often has excellent grain contrast, color, figure,
and fiddleback. This makes it a superior value in our eyes.
We start with a semi-fancy to A grade of walnut to set us apart
from the standard issue black walnut “Plain” stock
your rifle probably came with. Higher grades are available for
very fair prices. In our eyes, nothing surpasses the pride in
ownership of a fine, well figured walnut stock. See Upgrade
Options for more details. Here is a typical example of our semi-fancy
walnut:

- The
Finish
The
Finish
All of our walnut "Accurate Hunter," "Accurate Varminter" and "Supreme Accurate Hunter" models are hand finished for an out-of-the-box custom look. We have spent much time researching the finest finishes available. It is sealed for protection and hardening the surface of the wood, and then it is hand sanded to a satin finish with Permalyn™, a superb oil finish available from Brownells. This allows the owner of a Accurate Innovations stock to repair minor scratches and dings that can occasionally occur out in the field or brush. A final coat of finish is applied and thoroughly rubbed off for the final luster.

- Checkering
Checkering

Standard checkering is a laser
cut with a diamond point pattern. It is really a diamond shaped
column as a point. This configuration is far stronger than fragile
diamond point. True hand checkered diamond point, other checkering
and engraving patterns, however, are also available as options.

details.

- The
Finish
Laminates:
The Finish
Through
extensive testing, by evaluating strength and durability, UV
resistance, and enhancement in wood luster and beauty, we have
found a finish that is finer than all others in every area.
Our
polyurethane finish is the hardest, most durable consumer polyurethane
top coat on the market today. In addition it contains a UV Stabilizer
to protect it from breaking down in sunlight and to protect
the underlying wood from fading. This crystal clear finish also
brings
out the beauty of the wood without washing out the detail, character,
or color of the wood. We use a satin finish to prevent glare,
accentuate beauty of the action, and improved durability.

Colors

Colors Available
Our
laminate series has 3 color options: Ghost, Brown, and Gray*.
The first image is the Ghost option, and the bottom image contains the Brown and Gray options.

Brown and gray are also known in the industry
as "Nutmeg" and "Pepper." We feel "Brown"
and "Gray" are descriptive enough. Here is what really
matters to you, the end user:
