Ebony
Ahh, nothing like the classic safari look of an ebony tip and grip cap. This very expensive wood exudes "classic custom rife" looks. Our ebony is "Gabon Ebony", among the finest that can be had. It is jet black with faint wood grain visible. Any blacker and we'd have to use cheap, fake looking plastic.
We can dowel and tip your custom "Golden Accuracy™" riflestock with a 2" ebony tip or add a grip cap for the ultimate classic.

Whether it is standard 4 panel diamond checkering or full wraparound checkering, we provide these services. Our hand checkering is priced very competitively. Ask your dealer for pricing on 4 panel or custom hand checkering. Custom work is handled on a per job basis and is dependent of lines per inch as well as complexity of the project.

Walnut upgrades
One of our customers' favorite upgrades is the wood upgrade. Nothing catches your shooting pal's eyes faster than tight groups or a piece of wood that glows in 3D when the sun hits it. We have both. Our base model of wood is fancier than most gun industry stocks, it only gets better from there.

AA fancy Claro walnut
Very pronounced grain contrast, color, figure, light feather, and/or consistent fiddleback are all traits of a AA piece of walnut. AA pieces of walnut typically have these traits that show on both sides. AA is a very affordable way to add that something extra to a custom or stock rifle. We feel that is one of the best values available today.

AAA fancy Claro walnut
Strong grain contrast, color, figure, light feather, and/or heavy, bright fiddleback are all traits of a AAA piece of walnut. AAA pieces of walnut typically have these traits in up to 75% of the stock and show on both sides. AAA is also an excellent value and a real eye catcher. This is our standard wood for our flagship, The "Golden Supreme™".

Exhibition grade Claro walnut
Exhibition grade is available in limited supplies. Get your checkbook out, it'll cost more but is well worth it. Before you get too afraid of the price, remember that we are very reasonable as far as Exhibition walnut goes. Have your dealer call for pictures on this one.
The same above features can also be applied to English walnut also know as French, Persian, Circassian, and Turkish walnut. These woods are only differentiated by geographic region (soil, weather, altitude). Typically English walnut is slightly higher for the same grade of wood in Claro walnut.

Recoil pad
Our Golden Accuracy™ stocks, by default, are padded with a 1" Pachmayr Decelerator™. Although we feel that this is an excellent pad, we do offer an upgrade option to the Sims Limbsaver™. The Sims Limbsaver™ utilizes a patented multi chamber air system to reduce felt recoil. Either of these excellent pads, coupled with our patent pending Golden Accuracy Aluminum Chassis™, will drastically reduce felt recoil to the shooter.

It is simply how it sounds, a classically designed raised cheek piece. This is an economical option to upgrade the look and feel of your new stock.

An extra 1/2" is left on top of the comb for additional height. This is nice when accommodating large objective scopes that sit higher off the rifle, heavy recoiling rifles, and a possible slight improvement in accuracy.

- Fishscale Checkering
Fishscale Checkering
It is designed to give directional bite into your hand upon recoil and also allows the beautiful wood grain to show through to the surface, much like an expensive pair of Boa Constrictor snake skin boots. Pressed checkering—so commonly used today—has little grip and hides the beauty of the wood grain. The only other checkering that offers all this is hand checkering, but hand checkering is expensive and not directional in relation to recoil.
